Pump is working on his "Harvard Dropout" tape.

Lil Pump has new music on the way, according to a post on the Florida rapper's Instagram story. The clips shows Pump rapping along with a recording, sliding into a familiar flow and using his signature ad-lib "ESSKEETIT" as an integral part of the hook. He captioned the clip "droppin soon." Pump previously shared a clip of the single, which he said was titled "ESSKEETIT," at the beginning of the month, revealing it was self-produced.

Pump recently became a free agent when he was released from his Warner Bros. contract, something made possible by the fact that Pump signed the deal as a minor (he's currently 17). Since then, it has been speculated that the rapper signed a deal with Gucci Mane's 1017 Eskimo Records. Prior to that, he claimed that he was courting multiple deals, but would not settle for a dime less than $15 million.

The "Gucci Gang" rapper was recently arrested for allegedly discharging a firearm in his home. Earlier this month, he said he was under house arrest, and showed a TMZ cameraman his ankle bracelet. At the time, Pump was confident that his legal team would take care of him. "Aye man, we got rich lawyers. Real lawyers. The best lawyers in the planet," he said.

In January, Pump announced his second project Harvard Dropout. The mixtape will follow the rapper's self-titled debut, released in 2017, and is said to be "coming soon."
