Though many will debate whether or not the standards have waned in recent years, the 2018 XXL Freshman class has been officially put to the books. Consisting of Ski Mask The Slump God, Trippie Redd, Smokepurpp, Lil Pump, J.I.D., BlocBoy JB, Wifisfuneral, Stefflon Don, and YBN Nahmir, the class are all set to hit the stage for a showcase of their talents. The official Freshman showcase is set to pop off on Wednesday, July 11th, at New York City’s Terminal 5. Though it is possible that the entire Freshman Class will be in attendance, the announcement indicates that absences may very well occur; at this time, however, nothing is concrete.

As of now, it seems likely that the bulk of the Class will come through to hold it down. It's hard to imagine Lil Pump slotting time on his calendar to deliver a performance, but stranger things have happened. Either way, the concert should prove to be a raucous affair, especially given the nature of the talent attached to the masthead.

Should you be interested in checking this one out, you can buy tickets right here. Tickets will also be available at the door, which open at 7 PM Eastern Time. Luckily for several of the Freshman's target audiences, the show is indeed all-ages. In the meantime, stay tuned for the official XXL Freshman cyphers to surface; it should be any day now.
