Nintendo's Switch is the most innovative and addicting gaming console to ever be introduced. That is no surprise though, as Nintendo has stayed ahead of the competition with innovative ideas. While Xbox and PlayStation compete over power and graphics, Nintendo stays in a lane of their own by offering family-friendly and creative games that push the limits on how gamers interact with both their console and the games they play. Nintendo announced an online service for the Switch system, and now, they have revealed specifics regarding their online offering.
The online service will have three tiers. One month ($3.99), three months ($7.99), 12 months ($19.99), and a 12-month family plan for up to eight Nintendo accounts ($34.99). The subscription service lets gamers access all the free online gaming options from the past on Switch games, backup cloud saves for most games (thank god), access to 20 classic NES games with online capabilities, and additional features for the Nintendo Switch smartphone app.
Ten classic NES games will be offered, with another ten to be announced at a later date. The first ten games are as follows:
-Mario Bros.
-Super Mario Bros.
-Super Mario Bros. 3
-Dr. Mario
-Donkey Kong
-The Legend of Zelda
-Ice Climber
-Soccer
-Tennis
-Balloon Fight
The online service is slated to arrive this Fall.
