Trouble's been making waves in the rap game for a hot minute and it feels like we should be hearing more from him than we usually do. However, the rapper just finished a two month jail bid in January so it's safe to say that now that he's out, he's in go-mode. The rapper took to Twitter today to announce that he's signed a brand new record deal.
Mike Will Made it happily announced that Trouble is the newest signee to Ear Drummer. Trouble's new record deal is with Ear Drummer and Interscope records. Both Mike Will and Trouble took to Instagram to share the news.
"Though everyday is a celeBration. This 1 is much BIGGER & BETTER!! Smh I wanna thank my Brother @mikewillmadeit #Eardrummers & @interscope For Believing in me!! So many mills i dont know how to feel, you ill Mike Will!! 😜Its OFFICIAL!! All my struggles served a purpose.. Its Time!! #EDGEWOOD coming soon" He wrote on Instagram.
It's a long time coming and given the amount of work he's put in, it's well deserved. We're certainly excited to hear what they have in store this year. Along with the signing announcement, the two of them are gearing up to drop Edgewood and lead the campaign with the song and video for "Real Is Rare." The pairing also linked up in December when they released "Bring It Back" with Drake.
