The Loyola-Chicago Ramblers, one of the most popular Cinderella teams entering the NCAA Tournament, has just upset the Miami Hurricanes in dramatic fashion.
Following a missed free throw by Miami, senior Donte Ingram drilled a three from the logo with .3 seconds remaining to give the #11 seed Ramblers a 64-62 victory.
“Coach trusts all of us,” Ingram said after the game, per Dime. “I knew it was about three seconds left, so I knew if I got any kind of open space I was going to put it up. I have confidence in my shot and it went in.”
Loyola-Chicago will now take on the #3 seed Tennessee Volunteers on Saturday in Dallas.
