LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers are heading back to the Eastern Conference Finals for the fourth consecutive season after completing yet another sweep of the Toronto Raptors with a 35-point victory in Game 4. For LeBron, it will be his 10th Eastern Conference Finals appearance in the last 12 seasons.
After the game, Raptors All-Star shooting guard DeMar DeRozan had to admit that LeBron and the Cavs simply have Toronto's number. "Maybe they just got our number," he said during the post-game press conference. "Things just don't go right for us. We couldn't get it done. We had opportunity after opportunity after opportunity."
In the series, LeBron recorded 136 points, 45 assists and 33 rebounds. DeRozan and Kyle Lowry combined for 138 points, 46 assists, 30 rebounds.
Last night's 128-93 win marked Cleveland's 10th straight post-season victory against Toronto, as the Cavs have now swept the Raptors in back-to-back playoffs and have eliminated them from playoff contention in three straight years. Needless to say, #NBATwitter was more than prepared for the inevitable sweep.
