The past few days have been quite eventful in the world of Vic Mensa. The Chicago spitter hit Bootleg Kev's show recently for an interview and dropped a short freestyle over Lil Uzi Vert's "Neon Guts." Today, Vic comes through with the official version.
Vic Mensa gives everyone a reminder as to why he's not one to mess with lyrically on his new "Neon Guts" freestyle. The rapper comes through flexing his fashion sense as well as his lyrical prowess over the track. It's a dope take on the track for someone like Vic Mensa, especially since we're used to hearing Uzi croon over Pharrell's production. However, Vic Mensa shows that he could've easily turned this into one of his own songs if he had the chance.
Aside from his recent freestyle, Vic Mensa recently sparked a feud between himself and Tekashi 6ix9ine. After 6ix9ine's feud with Chicago rappers, Vic Mensa made it clear during his Bootleg Kev interview that he feels the "FEFE" rapper should give more respect to his hometown. Things escalated earlier today when Vic Mensa reposted a screenshot of 6ix9ine's Instagram comment where he said, "Vic mensa could sukk my dikk with his mother's lips." Vic Mensa then challenged 6ix9ine to scrap one on one and told Akademiks that when he sees him, it's on sight.
Quotable Lyrics
I don't wear Bape after Migo
I feel like Drake in my peacoat
I'm in a Rick Owens sheep coat
Neon guts when she deep throat
