The POTUS is flexing his authoritative might.

Donald Trump's infamous Twitter presence has given the current Commander in Chief an opportunity to personally address any salient political/governmental issues that have taken the world by storm. Similarly, the former Apprentice host is also given a public platform to relinquish any stream-of-conscious musings, whilst decrying his critics and the media alike.

Trump took to Twitter early Monday morning to inform the public about the extent of his administrative capacity. "As has been stated by numerous legal scholars, I have the absolute right to PARDON myself, but why would I do that when I have done nothing wrong? In the meantime, the never ending Witch Hunt, led by 13 very Angry and Conflicted Democrats (& others) continues into the mid-terms!"

This particular tweet could be in response to former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani, who recently appeared on an episode of ABC's This Week and postulated how Trump "has no intention of pardoning himself, but he probably does [have the power to]."

Trump also took time to address the ongoing Russian meddling investigation. "The appointment of the Special Counsel is totally UNCONSTITUTIONAL! Despite that, we play the game because I, unlike the Democrats, have done nothing wrong!" However, contrary to Trump's claims, the Supreme Court ruled in favour of the ability for an attorney general to hire an "independent counsel" to investigate and prosecute federal officials back in June of 1998.
