LeBron James is just seven points shy of reaching the 30,000 point total, a milestone which he fully intends to reach tonight as the Cavs take on the Spurs in San Antonio. In fact, LeBron has already taken the time to congratulate himself on his latest achievement.

Moments ago, LeBron shared a photo of his younger self on instagram along with a ridiculous caption in which present day LeBron congratulates younger LeBron on the goal he is about to reach.

"Wanna be one of the first to Congratulate you on this accomplishment/achievement tonight that you’ll reach! Only a handful has reach/seen it too and while I know it’s never been a goal of yours from the beginning try(please try) to take a moment for yourself on how you’ve done it! The House you’re about to be apart of has only 6 seats in it(as of now) but 1 more will be added and you should be very proud and honored to be invited inside. There’s so many people to thank who has help this even become possible(so thank them all) and when u finally get your moment(alone) to yourself smile, look up to the higher skies and say THANK YOU! So with that said, Congrats again Young King 🤴🏾! 1 Love! #striveforgreatness🚀#thekidfromakron👑"

The post celebrating his individual achievement comes at a particularly awkward time as the Cleveland Cavaliers have lost nine of their last 12 games, including a loss to the Thunder at home in which they gave up 148 points. Following that loss, LeBron was clearly concerned with the state of the Cavs and said they could "easily get bounced early in the playoffs."

Yesterday, the team held a meeting in which several Cavs teammates reportedly questioned the legitimacy of Kevin Love's illness which caused him to leave Saturday's loss to OKC after playing just three minutes.

LeBron and co. will take the court against San Antonio tonight at 8pm ET on TNT.
