What is going on in Cleveland?

The Cleveland Cavaliers have officially reached the "emotional team meeting" point in their roller coaster season.

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Cavs held a meeting prior to Monday’s practice, where several players questioned the legitimacy of Kevin Love's illness which caused him to leave Saturday's loss to OKC after playing just three minutes.

In addition to exiting Saturday's loss early, Love also missed Sunday's practice and had to explain himself to his teammates during Monday's meeting. Wojnarowski notes that "there was a sense with some that team had worked out some issues" at the end of the meeting, but we'll just have to wait and see.

The Cavs have lost nine of their last 12 games and there's a growing sense of concern that they may not be able to flip the switch and make a run to the NBA Finals like in previous seasons. Following Saturday's loss to OKC, in which the Cavs gave up 148 points at home, LeBron James said his team could "easily get bounced early in the playoffs" if they keep playing this way.

“Playoffs? We can’t even start thinking about that, not the way we’re playing right now,” James said to ESPN’s Dave McMenamin. “We could easily get bounced early in the playoffs if they started next weekend. Haven’t even began thinking about the postseason.”

The Cavs, 27-18, will take on the Spurs in San Antonio tonight at 8pm ET in the first game of TNT's double-header.
