Former NFL star Colin Kaepernick is in the final stretch of his significant charitable donation schedule, and now he's got one of rap's elder statesmen helping him to make it happen.

According to Snoop Dogg's official Instagram profile, the rapper has donated another $15,000 on top of the $10,000 he'd already pledged to Kaepernick's cause, making it a grand total of $25,000 coming from the Doggfather.

The rapper is donating Mothers Against Police Brutality, just one of the organizations that have been listed as beneficiaries of Kaepernick's million dollar pledge effort. He joins other celebrities like Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Jesse Williams and others who have also lent their names to Kap's cause. You can check out Snoop's social media announcement of the charity donation below.

ā€œI will donate one million dollars plus all the proceeds of my jersey sales from the 2016 season to organizations working in oppressed communities, 100k a month for 10 months,ā€ Kaepernick stated on his website. Organizations who have received donations from Kaepernick's fundraising include Life After Hate, Leaders of Beautiful Struggle, Meals on Wheels, Somalia Famine Relief, Black Veterans for Social Justice, Center for Reproductive Rights and many more.
