Listen to Rich Brian's new song "History."

If you’re still sleeping, 88 Rising is digital media/production company & label out of New York that’s the home to mostly Asian/Asian-American artists, including Rich Brian, Keith Ape, Pink Guy, Joji, and Higher Brothers. The group is readying its debut project for this Friday called Head In The Clouds, but before it arrives Rich Brian has some new music to share with us ahead of time. Keeping his word from yesterday, Brian decides to come through today and share a new song with 88Rising called “History,” which we presume will see life on the upcoming project, but that's not confirmed.

Following up last month’s “Midsummer Madness” release, Rich Brian delivers a self-produced record that finds him reflecting on a past relationship, while recognizing that there’s still “history” between the two.

Take a listen and let us know what you think. Record available on iTunes. If you wish to see Rich Brian and the 88Rising artists live in person you're in luck, the crew will be taking their talents on tour this Fall for the "88 Degrees & Rising Tour." Peep tour dates right here.

Quotable Lyrics:

Put my feelings all aside
Don't know how to make it right
Pictures popping on my mind
All of these occasions
Lets work it out with me
I don't think it hurts to give another try on it
Aye, nobody here know you like I do
Ask all your friends if they know ‘bout your size of shoes
How you like to cry when you laugh when you off the booze
I moved on but I still remember a thing or two
