Lil Uzi Vert's "Luv Is Rage 2" has reportedly gone platinum.

It appears Lil Uzi Vert has another plaque to add to his wall of accolades. According to reports & engineer K. Lee, Uzi’s latest album, Luv Is Rage 2, has recently gone platinum. The album had gone Gold back in October, after only dropping at the end of August, so you had to figure it was only a matter of time before the project reached the million units sold mark.

Led by the 4x platinum single “XO Tour Lif3,” Luv Is Rage 2 debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 with 135K album-equivalent units, 28K which were pure album sales.

"When I first heard that I went No. 1, I was sitting in the studio in Atlanta,” Uzi told Billboard of his #1 album. "Everybody came to show me on their phones, and I was just like, 'Huh, OK! It means everything," he continued. "I think I'm the only person, anyway, that exists, so I'm already No. 1!'"

This reported news comes just days after Uzi gave fans some promising words about what he has in stored for us in 2018, saying he’s getting back to his raw talent. “I had 2 chart buddy you see how the worst songs be the hits and the best songs stay lowkey underground," Uzi replied to a Twitter user saying he sold out. “I’m back on my raw talent fuck charting...is that cool?”

While Uzi himself hasn't announced the news of his now-platinum selling album, you can see the other tweets for yourself (below).
