Welp, it’s officially Ski Mask season.
Once he arrived with his long-awaited Beware The Book Of Eli, Ski Mask The Slump God’s good vibes just haven’t let up. After gracing the Rolling Loud Miami stage where he reunited with longtime friend and collaborator XXTentacion, putting an end to their brief beef, he may or may not have let it slip that he made this year’s XXL Freshman Class list during a Twitch session. This weekend, the momentum continued when he dropped off a four-track EP and previewed a taste of a new collaboration with Atlanta torchbearer Yung Bans. Well, Ski Mask seems to have a few more tricks up his sleeve as the South Florida rapper decided to unveil a snippet of new music video for “DoIHAveTheSause?” single.
The track initially served as the first outing to come of his Beware The Book Of Eli, and will be getting the visual treatment courtesy of Lyrical Lemonade’s Cole Bennet, who is also responsible for the visuals that accompany Ski Mask’s breakout “Catch Me Outside” single. From the looks of the new snippet, the eccentricity isn’t lacking as is the norm with most projects that Bennet touches.
At the moment, no official release date is attached to the new video, with a simple “Coming Soon” coming across the screen at the clip’s end. Ski captions it: “This Is Only The Start,” alluding to a possible slew of new visuals supporting the Beware The Book of Eli project. If so, we’ll take “Coolest Monkey In The Jungle” next, please.
