Music, movies, and shows, all at once.

Last year, Hulu and Spotify teamed up to bring students a subscription package combo deal. Now, the two streaming sites will join forces to bring a wider audience a new deal that discounts the price of subscribing to the two services separately. According to Varietythe new package will cost just $12.99, which is about a five dollar monthly discount for users who might be paying for base packages of both services already. The deal includes Spotify's full paid-subscription with Hulu's entry-level subscription. Hulu ad on extensions such as HBO GO, will still need to be paid for separately, while users can also upgrade to their commercial free service as well.

The new package will initially only be offered to Spotify Premium subscribers in the U.S., who will also get Hulu at a minimal cost of 99 cents during a three month trial period. A plan for people who do not already have Spotify Premium will be launched later this Summer. Spotify's chief premium business officer Alex Norstrom said in a statement to Variety, "Our student launch with Hulu was incredibly well received and we are excited to extend our reach by bringing Hulu to more of our Premium members in the U.S. With this exclusive Spotify offer, we are bundling two top media platforms for an unbeatable price.”
