By now the Drake and Chris Brown brawl at W.i.P. has been discussed ad nauseam, with Tony Parker using Breezy’s recent dust up with Frank Ocean as evidence in his case, and Drake and Brown even filing suits against each other. A club in Hollywood had taken notice, and not wanting to incite a riot (literally), they turned the YMCMB rapper away because Chris Brown was already inside partying.
According to TMZ, Drake went to club Playhouse in Hollywood on Wednesday, but the club’s security would not give him admittance as the venue was weary of having an incident similar to the brawl that took place over the summer.
Since Brown was already inside attending an anniversary party for the clothing brand Popular Demand, and was expected to be joined by Rihanna later, the bouncers informed the Toronto native that he could not enter. Drake was understanding and did not cause a scene and took his party elsewhere. It will be interesting to see if other venues and events start following this protocol of separating feuding artists.
