The upcoming JMBLYA festival in Austin, Texas, recently suffered some major losses to their line-up this year, but luckily they've finessed some more than capable replacements for them.
According to Austin 360, both Cardi B and Kevin Gates will not be attending the festival this year, due to wildly different circumstances. Cardi wont be attending, as she's cancelled all of her upcoming performances until her child is born, and Gates is unable to attend due to extremely strict travel restrictions placed on him as a result of his probation.
Instead, Gates and Cardi's sets will be replaced by T.I. and Young Thug, respectively. Thug has just released a sweet new EP, Hear No Evil, that he may perform live, and T.I. recently served as a stand-in for "The People" on Kanye West's divisive track, "Ye Vs. The People."
In addition to the new performances, JMBLYA organizers shared some helpful tips about the festival. For instance, if you live in Texas, this may be your only chance to see J. Cole live in concert this year. Apparently J. Cole has worked with the organizers for a very long time, so he'll hopefully put on a good show for the fans who want to see him perform his new KOD album live.
The addition of a second stage will also help ensure that the event runs smoother and that the party wont stop for the full eight and a half hours of sets.
The JMBLYA Festival is also set to include acts like Trippie Redd, Playboi Carti, and Migos. Check the full line-up here.
