Before hits fans with his long awaited War & Leisure album this Friday, Miguel decided to take over the stage at this year’s Victoria Secret Fashion Show in Shanghai, China Tuesday night and serve as one of the evening's musical guests, along with Harry Styles, Hamilton star Leslie Odom Jr., and Chinese pop-star Jane Zhang.
Miguel took the stage in promotion of his upcoming album by performing one of its new records “Told You So.” Dressed in a sharp, black suit, the Grammy Award-winning singer showed off his slick dance moves and impressive vocals while being surrounded by scantily-clad angles like Adrianna Lima and Lily Aldridge who walked the runway. Lily Aldridge happened to have walked the runway for her final time last night as well.
Katy Perry was rumored to have originally been on the line-up for the VS show as well, but word on the street is that she didn’t perform because she was denied entry into China.
This live performance comes just hours after finding out that Miguel will be hitting the road this Winter for “The War & Leisure” tour along with SiR & Nonchalant Savant. If interested, peep tour dates right here.
Miguel’s War & Leisure album, which drops this Friday December 1, will consist of 12 tracks in total & feature guest appearances from J. Cole, Travis Scott, Salaam Remi, Kali Uchis, and more. Meanwhile, it’s being led by the previously heard singles “Sky Walker,” “Told You So,” “Pineapple Skies” & “Come through And Chill,” the latter of which features J. Cole on the new remix.
