Fans have been eagerly waiting for the release of Drake’s Scorpion album ever since he first announced it back in April, but following the success of singles like "God's Plan" & "Nice For What," the time has come for us to hear his 5th studio album. At the stroke of midnight, Drake’s Scorpion album was finally released on iTunes featuring guest appearances from Ty Dolla $ign, Static Major, Michael Jackson & Jay Z, the latter of which who appears on the song “Talk Up” which we’re highlighting for y’all right here.
Over the production from DJ Paul, who spoke on the collaboration earlier, Drake talks his shit and raps about his stats and being at the top of the game, while mentioning being proud of who he’s become today. Meanwhile on the other hand, Hov talks about selling bricks & the streets, even referencing XXXTentacion’s death last week in the process. “I got your President tweeting, I won't even meet with him/ Y’all killed X and let Zimmerman live, Streets is done,” Hov spits as he references X being targeted by the streets and George Zimmerman (who killed Trayvon Martin) out here walking around freely.
Take a listen to the new heater and let us know what you think!
Quotable Lyrics:
Get close enough to HOV smell like a kilo still
First album 26, I don't need no deal
Already a hood legend, I don't need no shine
First Rollie flooded out, I ain't see no time
Stand up niggas
We only ducking indictments
Dope boys, Off-White, lookin' like soft white on them
You know what Im sayin'?
