Top Dawg Entertainment held their 4th annual Christmas toy drive Thursday afternoon (Dec. 21) at Nickerson Gardens projects in Watts, California. And as we reported earlier in the week, Rihanna was scheduled to take the stage for a live set & performance, which she ended up doing and killing it in the process.
Along with performing a medley of hits, including “Lemon” (her N.E.R.D collaboration), “Wild Thoughts” and “Bitch Better Have My Money,” Rihanna decided to join Kendrick Lamar on stage and perform their DAMN. collab “LOYALTY” for the first-time ever.
RiRi wasn’t the only one to tear down the stage however. Other members of the TDE roster took the stage as well as Bay Area veteran E-40, who did his thing as well, but of course it’s Rihanna’ set that left everyone talking.
The holiday concert was a great way for Top Dawg Entertainment to cap off what has been arguably their biggest year to date. With Kendrick Lamar and SZA dropping their respective albums, they became hip hop's powerhouse that houses some of the most prominent and well-respected artists in the game.
Thanks to fans in attendance, we can now relive the performance (below) if you happened to have missed it. Check it out and look for K. Dot to be performing at this year’s halftime show of the College Football National Championship. (We’ll keep you posted if/once better footage surfaces.)
