Frank Ocean has some new material locked in the vault.

Of all the big-name artists that have managed to roll out very strong and, at times, career-defining material this year, one artist who has been curiously absent from the fray has been Frank Ocean. The famed R&B crooner has held off on giving his fans another dose of his expertly crafted mellow vibes, but as per a Tumblr post that he made recently, the wait for his new material may soon be over.

As we previously reported, Ocean recalled his infamous 2012 tweet (something he posted when he was still on Twitter anyways) that boasted he'd have 5 albums done before he turned 30 in his latest Tumblr update. "'Well I made the album before 30,'" he said. "'I just aint put that bitch out!’ -Quotes from an interview I haven’t given haha.” There is still no other information offered up by Ocean or his representatives, with this startling piece of news coming just hours after he made physical copies of his audiovisual effort, Endless, available on DVD, VHS and CD. While Ocean, who is a man of few words when it comes to giving quotes and/or soundbites, has definitely left fans on the edge of their seats, working his Twitter followers into a frenzy with this album tease. Suffice it to say, there's some people who REALLY need some new Ocean vibes in their life right now.

This isn't the only memorable moment that we've seen from Frank Ocean in recent weeks. In a personal essay for i-D Magazine, he spoke about the power of just saying "yes" to things in life. "You can answer a lot of questions with 'Yes.' But you can answer many more with 'No,'" he said. "No is run-of-the-mill. Yes is a gem. Whenever I feel alone I watch live television, something about it being okay on their end makes it okay on mine. Onstage one in-ear is my mic feed and the other one is a Tim Ferriss podcast. I go long periods without talking but I raise my voice when the people on the phone are in loud places. I've never given my fans nicknames because the ones I think of are embarrassing. I'm world famous. I had peace in my twenties."
