Tiffany Haddish recently made her debut as the first black woman to host Saturday Night Live where her monologue on the show gave thanks to everyone who paid taxes when she was a child. "I want to thank anyone who paid taxes between 1990 and 1999, because if you hadn’t paid your taxes I wouldn’t be here today," she said. "I lived in group homes and my favorite show was SNL, you have no idea how hard it is to get a room of Hispanic and black kids to watch SNL.”
During her appearance, Tiffany portrayed Cardi B as a celebrity that missed the mark for landing a role in the upcoming Lion King remake, where she pretends to be the "Bodak Yellow" rapper while giving a rendition of "Can You Feel The Love Tonight?" Clearly, Cardi is a topic of choice for Tiffany. In her recent tweet, the Girls Trip actress informs fans that she has just filled in Barbra Streisand on everything she needs to know about the rapper. The photo shows Tiffany and the 75-year-old acclaimed singer and actress posing for a selfie. The caption reads, "Just so y’all know I taught my big sister about @CardiB_ today."
It may be weird to think of somebody not knowing who Cardi B is, whether they're a fan or not. I wonder if Barbra's a fan?
More on Cardi, one of her recent collaborations will be getting a visual treatment. The hype track "Motorsport" with Migos and Nicki Minaj has a video that will be available to all come Demeber 1st. Cardi tweeted the news herself:
As for more Cardi bangers, she recently shared yet another snippet from her upcoming solo tracks. The video shared to her Instagram shows her cruising on a highway in Europe while her beat plays in the background.
The stakes are high for Cardi, who is undoubtedly under a lot of pressure to deliver a good project to level up to her hype. The small teasers she's been sharing are keeping her fans satisfied and proves she's working hard on the quality factor.
