Last month, Florida rapper Yungeen Ace was shot several times, being brought to the hospital in critical condition. Recovering and making his way back to 100%, the Jacksonville product was arrested as part of a probation violation and released recently. His first duty was to get back in the studio and continue making a change in his life. With Florida being a current hotbed for rising rappers, Yungeen Ace borrows melodies from fellow Floridian Kodak Black, meshing his sound with that of NBA YoungBoy's to tackle a vibe of his own.
With his debut mixtape coming out later this month, Ace is eager to keep moving forward amid all the trouble he's faced as of late. Surviving the quadruple shooting was a wake-up call for him, making his way out of the "Jungle" and defending his territory at the same time. Keep an eye out for his debut mixtape, Life of Betrayal, dropping July 13.
Quotable Lyrics:
I'm living today I might die tomorrow
I'm going out like King Kong
Before I go, I'ma kill 'em all
They post on the block we gon' spin 'em all
