While Yung Lean's music has become bigger and more experimental with each release, his rap style has never really been conductive to rapping quickly. Whether it was because he was rapping in a second language, or just a consequence of his vaporwave production, Yung Lean's music was typically as slow as his name suggests.
His new song, "Crash Bandicoot," is different. Lean has picked up the pace considerably, though he's no where close to a Busta Rhymes or a Ski Mask The Slump God in terms of speed. Here, Lean raps about doing drugs, sipping lemonade, and being diagnosed with Bipolar disorder. The beat, produced by Foster (who has an incredible producer tag, by the way) is a minimalist slapper that gives Lean entry into the trap rap game.

Quotable Lyrics
My whip bipolar,
And my flow schizophrenic
Diagnose bipolar,
But I made it cross the Atlantic
