Kanye West is having a remarkable year, working on five albums with his G.O.O.D. Music cohorts and continuing his run of success in the fashion world. Many were speculating after the artist posted an image to his social media accounts that a sequel to Yeezus could be on the way. Later in the day, he seemed to confirm the rumors by posting the same photo again with Yandhi written underneath alongside the apparent release date. Now that it's become increasingly clear that we're getting another new project from the legend this year, artists are reaching out to get themselves on Yandhi before it's too late. Young Thug may have his own album on the way but he recognizes that this opportunity won't come too often so he's shooting his shot.
Thugger took to Twitter to hit up Kanye, offering him an ultimatum. He wrote, "@kanyewest If I’m not on #YANDHI I’m never talking to u again #OnGod." Fans have been wanting Jeffery to make an appearance on one of Ye's albums for quite some time as a proper collaboration between them has so much potential to be great. Yeezy is clearly one of Thug's biggest influences, naming one of his Jeffery tracks after the superstar.
With Yandhi seemingly dropping in less than two weeks, we should know about Thug's inclusion on the album sooner rather than later. His own On The Rvn was expected to drop last week but it was delayed due to sample clearance issues. The rapper is now stating that it can arrive any minute. Are you down with a Kanye x Thug track?
