Young Thug has been sporadically teasing his latest project On The Rvn online, and it looks like the album will be released on schedule. Slated for a midnight release, On The Rvn is said to host features from Jaden Smith, T-Shyne, 6lack, and Elton John. Thugger took to Instagram on Sunday evening to release a quick teaser for the project, which features an emotional new single.
The trailer begins with sound clips of journalists condemning Young Thug for his legal issues. "Young Thug is in jail this morning," states the first reporter. "Young Thug in new legal trouble," continues a second reporter before a third explains that a warrant for the rapper's arrest has been released. After the reporter round-up, black and white videos of Thugger on the road and spending time with his family flash by. Young Thug croon in autotune while the videos play, laying down an eerie and emotional verse over an acoustic guitar. "#OnTheRvn midnight," wrote Thugger as the caption for the video.
If everything goes according to plan, On The Rvn will drop at midnight. Fingers crossed that Thugger delivers on one of the most anticipated projects of the fourth quarter.
