He says some people are inspired, not chasing clout.

Thugger is calling for the term "clout chasing" to die a miserable death, as the rapper recently expressed his dislike for the phrase. Young Thug uploaded a series of video clips on his Instagram Story where he shared his thoughts about how people are misusing "clout chasing." The 27-year-old rapper says that the people being accused of "clout chasing" may actually be inspired by someone, so calling them anything less is a form of bullying.

"Y'all n*ggas who are firm believers in that 'clout chasing' word...let me tell y'all buster asses something," Thugger begins. "Stop saying a n*gga clout chasing. That's some bullying sh*t. You really bullying a n*gga. Some n*ggas don't even be clout chasing. Some n*ggas be inspired by sh*t they see. All that 'Aw, n*ggas wanna stand behind rappers.' This n*gga might look up to me...he might be inspired by me. The way I got-damn carry myself, n*gga. This n*gga wanna get some money and carry himself the same way."

He continues, "I'm doing this sh*t for all the right reasons. Y'all fake bully asses some b*tches anyway. Every n*gga running around talking about clout chasing, y'all n*ggas b*tches." He goes on to say that he's ending the term altogether. "Every n*gga that say that clout chasing word, y'all n*gga lames. Clout chasing, that word gone. From now on, ain't no such thing as clout chasing. 'Cause I damn sure run behind Jay Z but I know I ain't no clout chasing n*gga. I'm rich as a motherf*cker. So all that clout chasing, y'all n*ggas b*tches." Should the world shun the term "clout chasing" from now on?
