Although it seemed like the rumors may have been completely shut down earlier this week, talk about a Rich Gang reunion has heated up yet again. With Young Thug seemingly turning down Gucci Mane's $1 million offer to collaborate with Rich Homie Quan, we thought that may be the last we hear for a while about the two getting back together. With both Thugger and RHQ arguably making their best music together, it was a letdown to hear that not even money would repair their relationship. All hope was lost for a possible reunion between the two until London on da Track and Birdman came calling.
Producer London on da Track has previously voiced his interest in getting both RHQ and Thug together for a project, which was left unanswered. Now, a new element has been added to the frenzy as Birdman looks to be getting in on the fun. London posted a photo to his Instagram page claiming that he has a project in the works with Birdman, adding that a full Rich Gang reunion may be in the cards. "Me & @birdman5star working on a project #RG might gotta call jeffrey n quan," wrote London as the caption.
We won't get our hopes up this time since Thug seems to have already turned down Gucci Mane's offer. If a million dollars won't entice them to reunite, Birdman is the next best thing as he was a large part of their early success. Regardless, we'll keep an eye out for any further hints of a collaboration. If nothing arises between RHQ and Thug, at least we'll be getting a Birdman collaboration with London on da Track.
