Yo Gotti announces a new album and leads the way with this single, "Juice."

Yo Gotti, despite getting his name dragged into the mix amid Young Dolph's shooting out in LA (although it was for good enough reason given their weary history together) has been having a good few months. Things finally culminated when his single with Nicki Minaj, "Rake It Up" cracked the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 at the end of August, and then just last week, earned him a platinum plaque. The Mike WiLL Made It-produced collaboration marks his second platinum single, with the first being his other monster single "Down in the DM" (which actually resulted in a Nicki collab as well, as the rapper would hop on the record for a remix). "Rake It Up" first dropped in June and landed on Gotti's collaborative Mike WiLL project Gotti-Made It, released the same month. With the record doing numbers for Gotti and keeping his name in rotation on various streaming services, he's chosen the opportune moment to release a new single, and announce a new album.

Gotti reveals today his next album will be another I Am instalment, titled I Still Am, it's set to drop on October 27th -- shaping up to be a good day for hip-hop and r'n'b releases, with Ty Dolla $ign's Beach House 3 also arriving that day. The album is being released via Roc Nation/Epic Records. Along with this album release date and title, Gotti isn't sparing in information, he's also shared the tracklist for the album and of course, the reason you're here, the first single titled "Juice." Although, a look at the tracklist will tell you that "Rake It Up" will receive a second home on I Still Am, thus making it so Gotti actually has two singles out right now in promotion of the album. Hit the iTunes button to pre-order I Still Am (and scope out the tracklist while you're there).

"Juice," for its part, has a simple rhyme scheme and minimal production, making the drums and continuous closed hi-hats the focus. What do you think of it? It's out on all streaming services now.
