UPDATE: One of our writers was on the scene and he provided further details. "We were leaving, it was around 1:45 AM and I was in the car smoking," he said. "Out of nowhere, we hear 3 gunshots, and then everyone just starting running like crazy. It was a stampede. The party was packed too."

Just two weeks after Nipsey Hussle was ruthlessly murdered outside of his store in Los AngelesYG is lucky to be alive after gunfire broke out at his Coachella after-party. The star was fresh off the stage after announcing his new album's release date, dissing Tekashi 6ix9ine in the process, when he made his way out to the after-party. The gathering was happening at a nearby equestrian center according to TMZ and the night came to an abrupt end when gunfire erupted, causing mass panic.

Cops received a call at approximately 2 in the morning about shots that were fired at the after-party, causing the immediate stoppage of the festivities and leading the police to search for a suspect. Right now, details of the reported shooting are unclear with witnesses telling cops that it was a drive-by. When they searched the surrounding area though, no evidence was found that would indicate that a shooting happened. The party was shut down with police officers searching the area and asking everybody to go home.

With this happening so soon after the death of Nipsey Hussle, people are shocked to be hearing about the reported drive-by. Thankfully, it appears as though nobody was hurt. A suspect has not yet been found. As details continue to emerge, we will update you.
