XXXTENTACION is doing numbers on the charts.

XXXTENTACION's undoubtedly one of the most dominant young rappers to emerge in the past year but he's also been one of the most controversial. Despite the looming legal issues, he's dropped off two projects that managed to showcase how talented he is. He recently dropped off his second album ? which debuted at the top of the Billboard 200. Now, his single "SAD!" has reached a new feat for the Broward County emcee.

XXXTENTACION's "SAD!" has launched from number 19 to 7 on the Billboard Hot 100, making it his highest peak for a song to date. "SAD!" already had a major debut on the charts but it looks like it's well on its way to number one if it keeps going at this rate. A few weeks a go, the rapper urged his followers to stream the song and help it reach number one so it looks like the strength of his fanbase has helped him get to another height.

Overall, things are looking really good for XXXTENTACION. After the release of his latest project, which hailed a co-sign from The Weeknd, the rapper reportedly asked the judge on his case to let him off house arrest in order to tour. After considering his behavior over the past few months, the rapper was taken off house arrest while still having to take regular drug tests as well as reporting his travels. Either way, it looks like X is taking the right steps towards his freedom.
