XXXTentacion's family has informed the handlers of his Instagram account of their wishes to organize a Fan Memorial next Wednesday. The public memorial service looks to be the last chance fans of "seeing" the late rapper before the interment of his body. The post indicated "1 Panther Parkway, Sunrise Florida" as the address for the function, and 12-6pm as the hours of service. At the request of XXXTentacion's family, cellular devices will not be permitted inside the service. As the poster states: "Any person found with any device of the sort will be immediately turned around at gate or escorted out and will not be allowed back on the premises."
The invitation intimated the rapper's full name of Jahseh Dwayne Ricardo Onfroy on the card, in the hopes XXXTentation's usually rambunctious fans will enter the premises in a respectful manner. Of course XXXTentacion may feel entitled to a place of worship close to XXX's next of kin. With respect to his family's wishes, it may be in every in everyone's best interest if the Internet remain proper grounds for fan eulogies. The hip hop community has paid tribute to XXX through symbolic action, some reverting to commemorative tattoos, others to writing tribute songs.
