Nearly a decade ago, we were introduced to two rising talents that would end up becoming icons in their own right. Kid Cudi and Wiz Khalifa have had very different career trajectories but each has left their mark on the music industry forever. Both started to make an impact about ten years ago and back then, it was a dream that they would one day collaborate. While the extent of what they're planning right now is unclear, it looks like our wishes may finally be granted soon.
Wiz Khalifa is currently hard at work on his upcoming R&B album while Cudi had fans guessing what he was teasing when he tweeted out a cryptic message. It turns out Cudi's tweet was about a sneaker launch but it looks as though we might be in for a dream collaboration between Wiz and Cudi on wax. The two posed for a photo on Khalifa's Instagram account as the Pittsburgh rapper wrote that the two may have plans to get together in the studio. "CAM AND SCOTT," he wrote. "DONT WORRY IM WAITIN FOR THE MUSIC TOO."
Whether they've already recorded something or the plan was simply put in place, all signs are pointing to a song that meshes both their styles. Hopefully, this actually happens. Would you be down for a Wiz x Cudi track?
