In case you didn't know, Murda Inc's Irv Gotti has been hard at work on his new BET series "Tales," which premiered on June 27th, 2017. The dramatic series weaves narratives out of classic hip-hop tracks, and the first season has aired episodes centered around NWA's "Fuck The Police," Meek Mill's "Cold Hearted," Notorious B.I.G.'s "I Got A Story To Tell," Fetty Wap's "Trap Queen," Slick Rick's "Children's Story," Jay-Z's "99 Problems," and The Roots' "You Got Me."  If you're already keeping up with the series, sound off below with your thoughts. Did Irv Gotti pull this ambitious project off?

If you're a fan, and you happen to be a Tidal member, consider yourself in luck. The Jigga Man's streaming service continues to release exclusive director's cut versions of each episode, along with video interviews detailing Irv's creative process behind track selection. After all, he's the one responsible for choosing which songs are worthy of "Tales" episodes, so why wouldn't you want to hear his reasoning? Today, Tidal users will be able to stream the uncensored version of episode four, "Trap Queen." The basic summary of the episode, as per Wikipedia, reads as follows:

"This is a story of devoted love: Crystal discovers that her boyfriend and the love of her life, Reggie, is running drugs out of the strip club they own together. Despite her initial hesitation, Crystal decides to join forces with Reggie in order to secure their dream future."

As it stands, "Trap Queen" scored the highest number of viewers out of the entire first season of "Tales." Be sure to check out Tidal for all things "Tales," and don't sleep on Irv Gotti's ambitious series. Even if you are a die hard 50 Cent fan.
