Stacey Dash recently announced her plans to run for Congress in the state of California. Despite her previous statements on the idea that Black History Month and BET be abolished, the Clueless actress surprisingly got an even amount of reactions on Twitter to those for the idea and those against it.
The West Coast hip-hop prodigy, Warren G, recently shared his reaction on the news telling TMZ that "you can't have somebody that don't understand the struggle of what it is in all of these neighborhoods."
Warren does explain that he doesn't know her personally, and his comments aren't meant to throw shade her way.
"I'm not gone judge nobody I don't know but I don't think it's a good fit for somebody who hasn't lived in the community or been a part of the struggle that's been going on in these communities for years." He further notes: "If she went to school and studied on it and, you know, learned about everything I don't think it's a bad thing. But if she hasn't studied up a lot of stuff then I don't think that's a good thing to do."
What do you guys think?
