With so many streaming services, its a shame the best cartoons haven’t been available for some nostalgic Saturday morning cartoons and cereal. Warner Bros is finally filling the void we didn’t realize we had in our lives by launching Boomerang, a streaming service that specializes in bringing back classic cartoons.
Although it hasn’t launched yet, the service will include childhood favorites like Looney Tunes, Scooby Doo, Yogi Bear, The Flintstones, Courage The Cowardly Dog and many more. There are supposedly new episodes for a few of the shows as well, although we aren’t sure if that means previously unreleased episodes or newly produced ones.
The service will be available starting this spring online, on iOS and on Android, and they plan on adding more platforms after that. Unfortunately, the service isn’t free – it’ll cost $40 per year or $5 per month.
