It's no secret that Gucci Mane has a lot of admirers after the year he's had. From finishing up his time in jail to releasing several well-received records to getting hitched to Keyshia Ka'oir, it's really been quite the special 365 for Guwop. However, there are still a few out there who have a beef with the well-known rapper, including his former ATL bestie, Waka Flocka.
The former Brick Squad crew member took to Twitter earlier today to answer any questions fans had concerning he and Gucci Mane, stating that it would be the last time he'd warm over this long-standing beef. When he was asked point-blank about one of the major reasons why he and Gucci had a falling out, it turns out that Waka is still incensed over some record label sell-out maneuvers that happened long ago.
The story continues to get worse from Flocka's point of view. He insists that their collab "No Hands," which at one time was one of the biggest rap tracks in the entire world, yielded him exactly zero dollars of financial reward.
When he was asked about the possibility, however slim of he and Gucci Mane somehow getting back together for another go-round for some new music, Waka Flocka shot that down pretty quickly. Also, the Atlanta native doesn't seem to think that Guwop runs the city in any way.
After all that, the former Gucci Mane protege had some kind words to say about his former close friend. He apparently is still happy for Gucc that he came out of prison a better man and cleaned up his act in a big way, staying on the right side of the law ever since. Finally, he actually admires Guwop's latest records, even though the main reason might be because of who produced some of them.
What do you think? Is Waka Flocka right to have a beef with Gucci Mane, or is it time for the two rappers to let bygones be bygones? Let your voice be heard in the comments.
