Flocka Season is approaching.

Waka Flocka has been relatively quiet throughout 2017. It's unfortunate we haven't received much music from him with the exception of a few songs he's dropped along the way. In November of last year, he announced that he would finally be departing from his label, Atlantic Records. He's been open about his issues with the label since 2015, so it seems like he may be in a better position these days in terms of his artistic freedom. In early July, he hinted on Snapchat that Flockaveli 2 would be dropping on October 5th. The release date also marks the seven year anniversary since he dropped his debut album Flockaveli.  While many are waiting, it's possible that Waka Flocka will be keeping his word.

Waka Flocka unleashed his latest single "Trap My Ass Off" earlier. It has the feeling of his older music, so it's definitely a good indication of what his project might consist of. "Trap My Ass Off" has Flocka on some real aggressive tones. With a catchy, trap hook to lead the anthem, Flocka comes through with some bars, bringing us on a trip down memory lane to his time in the trap. It's also one of the first solo song he's dropped since "Big Dawg" in April. It's good to hear Waka Flocka back in his zone.

It's really looking like he'll be dropping his album soon. Earlier today, he released the video for "Big Dawg" and right now, he unleashed "Trap My Ass Off." With the release of both a video and a single within a day, it's looking like Waka Flocka has something up his sleeve and hopefully, it's in the form on Flockaveli 2.

Quotable Lyrics
Bringing quarters back like Andrew Luck
Got a charge extra if we cookin' up
Stripper bitches countin' money naked
That Lam truck, I gotta have it.
