On his most recent appearance on the Breakfast Club, Waka Flocka made some offensive statements regarding Caitlyn Jenner and the transgender community, suggesting that those who choose to identify with a different gender later in life are "rebuking God".
Following backlash against his views, Waka decided to clarify his words on Twitter, and while he did apologize for using the word "evil," and expressed that he has "no problem with transgender people," the rapper unfortunately stood by his previous statements, writing, "I simply feel we need to be careful what our children see as "sensationalized"," going on to say, "I'm not a fan of transgenders marketed as a superhero".
This certainly won't be the end of the conversation with Waka, and as a generally very rational person, he'll hopefully end up seeing the wrong in his views. Read his tweets below.
