Waka Flocka hasn't wasted any time in the New Year. The rapper revealed in a new interview that he is already almost finished his third LP, titled Flockaveli Part 2, and is also prepping a mixtape which he plans to drop in early February.
While talking to MTV News, Waka Flocka says of his upcoming album, "I want to drop now," however, he plans to put out a new mixtape first. "I'ma put a mixtape out February 5, DuFlocka Rant Part 2, and from there I might drop summer, spring. I don't know. My album done, it's done. I mastered it and everything. It's done."
Waka's follow-up to Triple F Life will carry a similar formula as the aforementioned LP, with the sound that defined the original Flockaveli thrown in. "I just got out the studio, Timbaland; walked in; I ain't have to call for that. That's something I was gonna grab," he said of the producer. "Everybody I wanted to get on a song basically walked in the studio."
Waka also has some suprising features on the new LP, Flockaveli Part 2, such as Wyclef Jean & Swizz Beatz. "I got a record with Wyclef, they can look out for that. It's called 'Abu Dhabi.' It's crazy."
