Listen to Vory's new release "Hold Of Me."

We first introduced you King Vory back in February of 2016 when he broke out onto the scene with hit song “Overdose." The rising Louisville native, who came up under Bryon Tiller & helped him write the smash hit “Don’t,” followed that breakout hit with singles such as “Again,” “My Life A Movie,” & “Zeus” with Lil Bibby, but neither of them popped off like they should have. Having dropped off his Overdose mixtape a few months later in July of 2016, King Vory has been very quiet over the past year so, but thankfully that all changed in September when he returned to the scene with the single “Do That Shit.” Following that up with another collar with Justine Skye called “Lost Me,” Vory decided to come through recently and share a new offering called “Hold Of Me,” which was premiered by Zane Lowe last week on Beats 1 Radio.

Going in over the hypnotic production from Grasser Beats and Wallis Lane, Very delivers a mid tempo ballad that finds him crooning about what happens when he drinks too much, which brings out another side of him. “Feel like you only get this side of me when I drink/ Feel like the liquor got the best of me when I drink/ I fucked up, admit I fucked up, been drinking admit I fucked up” he croons. Highlighted by its production & melodic flow & vibe, “Hold Of Me” is another strong addition to the Louisville singer’s growing catalogue of hits.

Its unclear at the moment on where this will end up, but Very was supposed to be readying a new EP called Lucky Me last we heard, so it’s likely that’s where this will end up if still happening.

Quotable Lyrics:

I fucked up cause girl Im fucked up
Don't act like you don't know whats up
Girl take some time do not rush
Im fucked up admit I am
