Quantasia Sharpton, the woman suing Usher for allegedly giving her herpes, isn't backing down from the case. Quantasia is one of few women suing the singer, more specifically she is the one who claimed there was video evidence of her and Usher having sex but her attorney later claimed it was not true, calling it a "misunderstanding."
Quantasia is now back in headlines for allegedly trying to drag another woman in her case to bring some ammo to her lawsuit. Legal documents obtained by TMZ say a woman going by Jane Doe is alleging that Quantasia is going after "extremely private and embarrassing information" regarding her sexual history with the "Confessions" singer, as a way to get her in for a deposition.
Jane claims her private information was leaked and stolen without her consent. The documents further note how Jane's sexual history and health has nothing to do with Quantasia's case against Usher. She simply wants nothing to do with the lawsuit as it will only humiliate her and violate her right to privacy.
Laura Helm is another woman suing the singer and she is asking for $20 million. As we reported last week, Usher came forward with a statement to Laura that said she assumed her own risk of contracting an STD when she slept with him.
"With a one in six chance that any given partner could have genital herpes, [she] assumed the risk of contracting an STD each and every time she chose to have unprotected sex with a casual, consensual partner," Usher said in legal documents.
Laura said she had sex with Usher two times, where one time was unprotected. She alleges that after the second time hooking up with Usher she noticed an “unusual bump on the inside of her cheek" and later found a bump "the size of a green pea."
