The emergence and growth of Drill puts Keef on the list of most influential rappers. If we're talking musically, he's head and shoulders more influential than Jay-Z. Jay's influence can't be denied but it falls most heavily outside of the actual music. Keef, Wayne, Pac & Kanye actually changed the direction of popular rap during their heights and made their styles mainstream. Jay never did that musically. Nas did it more than Jay. Whole industry started rapping like Nas after Illmatic. Same for Pac, Wayne, Kanye AND Keef. Jay's influence has been more on fashion and business. Keef doesn't get his flowers because people don't like the influence Drill has on young listeners but that proves the point and London/UK Drill proves Charlamagne wrong on the "international influence" point. Charlamagne just too old to realize that what HE is influenced by is not the end all/be all.

Travis, Kanye, Drake, etc. do shit like this all of the time. Big Bank take little bank and the labels will always get them whatever they want so if they like the song, they gon get it. One way or another. Artists are lucky if they even get left on their own song.
