He has not mastered the art of beef. Lyrically “his stuff” is not up there with the best diss records. However he has mastered the art of making a diss record pop friendly. That’s why people eat it up. It’s not like he’s out here “writing” Ethers and No Vaseline’s.

Y’all are killing me with the ghostwriting thing. First off it’s an ok line far from classic, but catchy I guess. Secondly y’all go up in arms when a rapper gets one line or a hook from someone else. There are ghostwriters out there writing entire verses and songs for some rappers. Lyricallly Kanye isn’t the best but he has written some dope verses, I even heard some straight freestyles. Won’t go down as a top 5 rapper, but definitely a top 3 hip hop artist.

I’ve said this for the longest, Kanye is a better speaker when he’s not in the moment. He has some good ideas that gets lost in emotion and falls on death ears. At that point people pick and choose what they want to hear, and it’s usually anything that can help them prove he’s crazy or an idiot. And when he’s not clear to the people that don’t listen to his music, that haven’t heard some of his interviews to see exactly what his stance is, it’s not hard to prove.

I highly doubt, he’s suggesting a black woman needs to save Kanye. The fact that it’s Michelle Obama specifically let’s us know it’s deeper than that. The idea that a black woman can save a black man is a dead concept today.

I don’t understand how Em is considered the GOAT. For all of his album successes he actually has as many failures, but he still sales well regardless because he’s Eminem. He’s basically the Drake of his time, but white and raps a whole lot better. Joe Budden actually made a good point about his content and the lack of it. Lyrically Em won, but it’s a diss we won’t remember. One listen does the trick and then it’s just not worth listening to. Kudos for delivery and better beat. Em was lyrically superior but sounded like he responded out of obligation and it came out boring but just enough to win.

Yeezus was that sleeper album that didn’t catch on till later like 808s except if 808s is the blue chill album of his career, Yeezus was the red rebellious one. Each representing lows and highs respectively. I don’t want a Yeezus 2 if it doesn’t match the same intensity though, especially after TLOP and Ye. They were decent, but weren’t filling.

A guy that shoots that well is hurting his team by not shooting. I put more weight in his scoring ability than most other PGs passing ability especially considering he’s a good passer. Stockton and any other great passing PG might get you 20 assists but how many will close a game out and fuck up defenses even without the ball in hand. Only other PG that’s impacted the game on a large scale is Magic

Y’all can hate all you want but Curry is getting up there. Being the GOAT shooter of all time puts him in multiple convos anyways. I wouldn’t say he’s the 2nd best, but at this point he’s probably the easiest player to build a team around. Imagine your favorite player playing with Curry. His presence alone makes them 2x better. Scoring, playmaking, handles, off ball movement he has it all except elite defense and he’s still solid on that end. He actually gives more than some of your favorite players.

Klay is good and as much as people would love to believe he’s better than Curry or he could lead a team, he simply isn’t that. His bread and butter is catch and shooting and defense. Luckily he’s on a passing team with two great playmakers in Draymond and Curry. He has no ball handling skill, no post moves, etc.which means he’s destined to be the second or third option never a leader. He’s likely to turn the ball over if holding it too long and considering he’s mostly a catch and shooter, because he lacks the skills to play iso or shooting off the dribble, that explains why he’s streaky on offense. He’s not great at getting it on his own. Still a great player though
