My favorite thing to drop this weekend. Burna Boy's album is fire too but this whole project just flows so well.

Upon repeat listens, this is actually not terrible. I like some songs but it's still too damn long. Not as good as Coloring Book or Acid Rap (which is still my favorite) but hey, he's just making the music he wants to make that reflects his life and where he's at so I can respect that.

For Y'all is still one of my favorites of his. He's got harder lyrics but that whole song is just a vibe.

They're both amazing lyricist and artist, but without people like Lupe spitting the way he has been spitting, people like Kendrick and other more lyrical artist probably wouldn't have the sounds and styles we hear.

Don't like all the songs but I feel like the intention and passion is evident on every track regardless. This is really some grown people music that's not afraid of reflection even when it is ugly. Most people ain't tryna reflect on their negative aspects let alone try to work towards changing them, so I understand why some folk aren't messing with this as much but I think it's great. One of the best projects in this lane of more lyrical, conscious and adult hip hop so far this year imo.
