Although I expected it, I can't help but acknowledge the fact that IYRTITL and Compton aren't worthy of their nominations. In my opinion, they were (small) steps back for both Dre and Drake musically. Yes, Drake dominated radio and yes, Dre finally released solo music but as far as content, Compton is slightly overrated and IYRTITL shouldn't be in conversation with the ones nominated. Sean, Wale, Rocky, and even Meek stepped their album quality up this year and I feel they're more deserving.
