I would consider myself the biggest Wayne fan. BUT this album is kinda a mixed bag. The first 4 tracks are absolute fire (especially Funerals second part, Mahogany and Mama Mia). Conclusion: Waynes bars are lethal as always; he still sounds like trash with autotune, especially when he starts to scream with it, and stacks those vocals. Ear cancer inducing, but almost every track on this album sounds different from each other, so it's kinda a surprise bag for everybody, but this also leads to a lack of cohesiveness. It's a 6/10 in my book.

Actually, I was always confused what he was trying to potray with this aesthetic. The vibe he is trying to deliver with this, doesn't really resonate with me.

Maybe I'm not the greatest Jack Harlow, so take my take with a grain of salt, but for me this album was kinda mid. The beat selection was very safe, nothing that stuck out. Some Drake-esque, and Russ kinda beats and songs. He picked his singles very smart, because those were definitely the best tracks on the album. But Jack did his thing tho, but this album has no replay value for me.

I gotta say that the production on this album is pretty good and vibey, his team really worked on that album, but Cudis singing and rapping is very rough in the first couple tracks of the album. And whoever is mixing his voice really needs to learn how to mix again, or maybe its a stylistic choice, but his voice is mixed horribly on some tracks. But the last half of the album is where Cudi really shines, and it feels more like a Cudi album, than a Travis album. But overall the album is actually great. I enjoyed it more than the Jack Harlow album.

I had 3 listens of the album, and I have to say that I clearly see that Carti intentionally tried to switch up his style, so I give him probs for that, because an artist should always be willing to evolve, BUT this style is definitely not working for me. Die Lit was almost flawless for me. Die Lit was met with backlash also, but not to this extent like WLR. The beats on here are mixed very bad, and Cartis vocal choice was very whispery, but still screamy, awkward and forced. "New Neon" shows painfully obvious how much Carti has rather devolved than evolved. Music sounds the best, when you can hear that they just themself go, but Carti kinda tried too hard, to be different on this one. Thats why Die Lit is a classic, because the album just flows and doesn't come off as forced. Best tracks: Beno, Jumpt out the house, Slayer, Teen X (kinda cathcy), New Neon, Control (The beat is insane), Sky, Over. Not the worst album, but faaar worse than Die Lit.

This album seems to be more superficial content wise, than his others. The topics he is rapping about are nothing special, kinda just brag rap with a lil autotune sprinkled on top of it, BUT Coles delivery and passion seems to be on point on here, which was definitely missing on KOD. I think Cole just wanted to have fun with this album, and he definitely delivered on that end. The album is nothing special, it's like a shot of energy, quick but still effective. 6.5/10

21 Savage might just dropped the hardest bar of the year, with the Teddy bears line. That imagery is crazy dark, 21 Savage upped his pen game for sure.

As an extremely big Roddy Ricch fan, I'm kinda disappointed that he chose exactly this one to release out of all the snippets that where out, THIS is the one he chose? It's not a bad song, but when it comes to Roddy I expect something more street and harder, but still melodic, like "Every Season" for example. But I still wait what he has to offer for this year.

Ok, I think Lil Durk is definitely more versatile than Lil Baby, but Durk does not have a ear for catchy hooks. A lot of Durks hooks are cringey as hell. Lil Baby uses too much autotune for my taste, but maybe thats his style, but thats not for me, and on top of that he seems to always use the same kind of flow, you always know how he will approach a beat. I like his flow, don't get me wrong, but its repetitive sometimes. The beats are generic as hell. Either Lil Baby type beats or melodic-street-Rod Wave type beats, and not the good ones. Overall this album is pretty mid, one or two songs actually embody what the whole album sounds like. The features were ok, but Thugga was kinda nice.

I think most people here are not really hatin'. We are just kinda frustrated to hear the same shit, over and over again. We get it, you had to struggle, came from the trenches, had a pot to piss in. Autotune drenched voices and mumbly flows...we get it! I think we are ready for the next wave, because this sound is getting played out. They did their thing ngl, but we are just tired.

Actually the talent nowadays lies in the producers, mixing and mastering engineers, and marketing department. Polo G is just a face at this point

There are far too many beats on this album that do not fit Pop Smokes usual style. I mean what where the prudcers thinking on "Top Shotta"? But there are definitely some gems on here like "Tell The Vision"(without Kanye), "Manslaughter", "Bout A Million", "Brush Em", "Coupe" and "Merci beaucoup"

What the hell has Logic become? No Pressure would have been the perfect peak to retire afterwards, but of course he had to tarnish his legacy, smfh

Kanye Fans give Ye far too many chances to redeem himself, and he always disappoints (post Yeezus except Kids See Ghost), but I will give him this one chance too, if he lets me down again, I will never be excited for a Kanye release again, I promise (who the hell am I kidding lol)

If you strip away his amazing flow, you actually see that he is a horrible lyricist. He has next to no substance or wittiness in his lyrics, but I gotta give him props for his flow, because it's smooth like silk. No Pressure was his peak tho.

You don't see Rock artists being compared or Pop artists being compared when they feature each other. I know Gunna is generally low key with his music, but this song right here is really mid. The beat sounds like a stripped back pop trap beat, and Gunnas delivery is even lower energy than usual. And the melodys are basic in here. He kinda missed with this one imo.

I was kinda hoping to get a glimpse of old thugger or even 2017-18 Thugga, but I have to admit that I really don't feel Thuggas recent style at all, and I'm saying that as maybe the biggest Young Thug fan who is missing the blond loc Thugga from 2015-2016. That time period was the best for Trap in general, especially Thug and Future where in there peaks there, but now....Future is still doing his thing, kinda, but Thug has completely lost his way. But at least he is pushing other artists, I give him respect for that

I gotta give credit to Trippie for trying to expand his sound and trying new pockets and styles, but in my personal opinion those "hype-rage"-beats get very repetitive very fast, and somehow Trippies voice don't really fit on those beats imo. I rather like him on dark trap beats like Dark Knight Dummo or the snippets (Big 14 or Black Opps), but thats a matter of taste. Honestly, I think Morray is underrated because he is fat and ugly. Sorry to be that harsh, but looks play a big part in todays success. Its mostly about the aesthetics and image nowadays rather than the actual substance. Its sad, but thats reality.

Ok, I have to say that Kendrick came correct flow and delivery wise, but content wise he was just bragging, but I think this song is kinda like Humble. He starts with a banger and leave the deep material for the album. I definitely glad that Kendrick is back. The game needed him the most as the other giants chose to sleep

A lot to unpack here. First of, I'm effing shocked that it dropped on a sunday, but then again it's Kanye. Well, the album is kinda a mixed bag. It feels like a dark version of Jesus Is King, with some uneasy minimalistic dark production. Some songs kinda feel unfinished and some beats feel really skeletal to some extent. And I really question who gave the green light on "Tell The Vision". But overall I have to give Kanye credit for the song ideas because those are incredible as usual, Kanye has a different approach to music than a lot of rappers, so we should appreciate him while he is here to still shake things up, but he clearly lost his musical focus unfortunately, but I will cheer for Kanye till he retires. Best tracks: Heaven and Hell, Off The Grid, Come to Life, Believe What I Say, 24, Jail Worst tracks: Tell The Vision (by faaaar, wtf?!), New Again, Lord I Need You
