I hate that it had to happen but Gunna did what was best for business even in respect to Thug.For one, gunna had nothing to do with that street side of it and was purely their for the music, especially since most stuff they have on thug was prior to Gunna even signing. So this has nothing to do with Gunna.For two, the amount of witness they have l means ysl was gonna be established as a gang whether Gunna said it was or not.Most importantly for 3, Gunna is still signed to Thug so him being out recording music and seeking out tours is just keeping thugs family fed. Gunna is keeping the light on for ysl right now.

All respect to roddy cause he a great artist, but besides being around the Kendrick show, he also still collaborating with Gunna (another great artist), and out of respect for Thug, Drake probably wouldn’t pull no strings this time. I doubt drake straight up blocked him, cause he didn’t block Ross, but he sure ain’t about to help him anymore due to his affiliations.

Love most of his project, but the issue is consistency. These artists are taking too long and fans have a lower attention span the ever. Even Kendrick wouldn’t sell like crazy if it wasn’t for going to war with Drake. The age of taking 3-5 years to put an album out as a rapper is over. Only a few artist even outside of rap like Adele can do that and still sell well.Craziest thing is, a lot of these take forever rappers used to drop music like crazy before they made it, but then they got lazy. Hopefully this is a wake up call.
