Ty Dolla $ign has been a staple within hip hop since stepping into the scene. Since then, he's also been dabbling with other sounds and genres. The last official project he dropped off was his 2016 mixtape Campaign but it looks like he'll be giving us his sophomore release in the near future.
Ty Dolla $ign took to Instagram today to share the Beach House 3 album art and release date. The album is set to drop on October 27th through Atlantic Records and the pre-order is now available. The album art features a birds eye view of an island that spells "TY$". Fans that pre-order the album will get an instant download of the newly released "Message In A Bottle", "Dawson's Breek" ft. Jeremih as well as the previously dropped singles, “Love U Better" ft. Lil Wayne and The-Dream and “So Am I" ft. Damian Marley and Skrillex. The four singles that have been released are part of a yet-to-be revealed 20 song tracklist. Hopefully some of the newer artists he's been working with lately pop up on the album.
Ty Dolla $ign debut album Free TC helped him reach critical acclaim and also landed him on several year end lists. The album also helped him reach a platinum single for for "Blasé" with Future & Rae Sremmurd as well as two gold singles for "Saved" ft. E-40 and "Wavy" ft. Joe Moses. Spotify has also dubbed him as the 25th most streamed artist in the U.S. this past year. Ty Dolla $ign is definitely set to drop a heater with his upcoming project.
Aside from his upcoming album, he recently appeared at VH1's Hip Hop Honors awards where he performed a tribute for Montel Jordan's "This Is How We Do It" before hopping up on stage with Warren G to perform his classic 90's joint "Regulate". He's also been recently nominated for two BET Hip Hop awards as well. One of them for "Sweet 16 - Best Featured Verse" for his performance on "Ain't Nothing" by Juicy J which also featured Taylor Gang head honcho Wiz Khalifa. He also landed another nomination for "Impact Track" on his collab on Lecrae's "Blessings".
