Lauryn Hill is currently deep within the journey of her "MLH Caravan: A Diaspora Calling!" concert series. Having added more dates to the series in November, the singer has dedicated a lot of time to this tour, but it seems as though it's not enough time.
According to a report from XXL, Hill's show in Pittsburgh last night did not go well at all as fans waited three-plus hours for the singer to take the stage. Apparently, her band was also waiting along with the crowd, and by the time she took the stage everyone was visibly pissed off. Hill has a record of showing up late to her shows and addressed her lack of punctuality last year with the following statement.
“I don’t show up late to shows because I don’t care. And I have nothing but Love and respect for my fans. The challenge is aligning my energy with the time, taking something that isn’t easily classified or contained, and trying to make it available for others.”
While Hill may have the most genuine excuse for her lateness, Twitter was not trying to hear any of it last night and promptly voiced their frustrations and persecuted the musician for her actions.
